Which Bijur meter unit do I need?
Every meter unit in a Bijur resistance system is stamped with a code, three letters and a number, like FSA-1. Replace like for like and you cannot go wrong. If the stamping is worn off, work through the three questions below.
1. Where does it mount?

2. How much oil? The number is the flow rate. Rates run 3/0 (extra slow), 00, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (extra fast), and each step up doubles the flow to that point. Most machine-tool ways use 0, 1 or 2. Keep the rate the machine builder chose unless you have a reason: a point that is dry after a full cycle can go up one number; a point that is dripping can come down one. More on flow numbers.
3. Which pump feeds it? Type F meter units (everything above) are for cyclic pumps: L5P, L18P, L2P, HAP hand pumps, and TM-1, TMD-5, TM-5 and SureFire II SLR timed pumps. If the machine has a continuous gear pump (V5, V5B, V5W, where a motor runs whenever the machine does), it takes Type C control units instead, which have a filter and no check valve. Do not mix the two.
