Your Bijur AA or AB pump is obsolete. The crossover is a SureFire II with an injector.
The AA and AB were mechanical one-shot lubricators: a cam on a machine shaft worked a small piston that pushed a shot of oil into a resistance meter-unit system every so many revolutions. No motor, no wiring, and no longer made.
What BDI specifies. Technical Sheet TS015 crosses the AA/AB to a SureFire II 71800 series lubricator fitted with the 71730 ZEM39 injector kit. The ZEM39 is a positive-displacement injector that puts out 1.5 cc per cycle regardless of oil temperature or viscosity, which is an improvement over the AA/AB, whose delivery drifted with both. The SureFire II's built-in timer replaces the cam.
The model number. 71800-[voltage][reservoir][material]J: voltage B = 24 VDC, C = 115 VAC, D = 230 VAC; reservoir 2, 3 or 6 liters; P plastic or M metal. The kit we sell is the 71800-C2PJ (115 VAC, 2 L, plastic), which covers most machine tools. Ask for the other voltages.
What changes on the machine. You need power at the pump: 115 VAC for the standard kit. The pump pressurizes to about 450 psi on each cycle and vents to 10–15 psi in between; your meter units open at about 5 psi, so the system must hold roughly 10 psi to feed. A line that leaked harmlessly with the AA/AB will show up now as points that never get oil. Minimum off time on the AC controller is 12 seconds; if the AA/AB was cycling faster than that (unusual), use the 24 VDC pump.

What to have ready when you order. A count of lube points, the oil grade, and a photo of the AA/AB and its cam drive so we can confirm the injector sizing. Both parts are built to order at BDI (typically 4–6 weeks); we give you the ship date at order confirmation.
