Before You Order
- All DD and DM valves are rated 3500 psi (240 bar) max; DDM/SDM modules 5075 psi (350 bar) - keep pump relief and reversing pressure below the valve rating (DS 35513 p.2; DL29 p.8).
- DD5...206 (no indicator tower, for harsh environments) output is fixed at maximum and cannot be adjusted (DS 35513 p.3).
- Some oil systems need a check valve in the DM discharge port (DS 35513 p.2).
- Steel U-81 fittings are for seamless steel or copper-plated steel tube only; use brass U-81...B with brass, copper or nylon tube (DS 35513 p.4).
- Order by name, lube points and P/N, e.g. 'DM Valve without connectors, 3 lube points, Part #DM33100' (DS 35513 p.3).
Choosing Between Options
- DD: two discharge ports per section (cross-port for one bearing); DM: one bottom discharge port per section (DS 35513 p.1).
- Dose per stroke: DD-2X 0.09-0.59 cc, DD-5X 0.18-4.74 cc, DM-3X 0.19-1.18, DM-4X 0.59-2.21, DM-5X 1.23-5.01, DM-6X 2.95-13.11 cc (DS 35513 p.2).
- DDM/SDM modules bolt to a manifold and can be changed in seconds; SDM feeds one point every cycle, DDM two points on alternate cycles (DL29 p.8).
- 'P' suffix DD-5 valves use Viton packings instead of the standard Viton lip seals (DS 35513 p.3).
