The difference is not a setting — it is a different pump. A PDI unit builds 450 psi so injectors can fire; an SLR unit runs at 75 psi to feed meter units that proportion by flow resistance. Six times the pressure. Fitting the wrong one either fails to cycle the injectors or over-pressures a resistance system.
